The Gulf coast has always been a large part of Vicki’s life. Growing up in the Birmingham, Trussville area her family vacationed here her entire life. Over the years they ventured down to the emerald coast but nowhere has she found the friendly downhome feeling of Gulf Shores, Orange Beach area. “The beautiful white sands and the crystal blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico offer a sense of tranquility that is treasured by all that visit.” Vicki has a passion for our Coastal Wildlife, which includes Alabama Sea Turtles, Alabama Coastal Bird trail, Alabama Wildlife Center and so much more. She wants everyone to experience what the Alabama Gulf Coast has to offer.
She enjoys live music from local artists hosted by the Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival or famous entertainers live in concert at the Wharf Amphitheater. She also enjoys the more family atmospheres at OWA, Dolphin cruises, offshore fishing, charter boat rentals or boat rental for a day of family fun. With annual events such as the Gulf Shores National Shrimp Festival, Hangout Music Festival, Flora-Bama’s famous Mullet Toss, there is something for all ages and interests. It does not stop at a community level. The state of Alabama continues to build and maintain beautiful state facilities such as Gulf State Park Fishing Pier, Gulf State Park Campgrounds, Alabama Point East and the amazing trails at Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trails.
Baldwin County is the largest county in the state of Alabama. April, 2016 Al.com stated “Baldwin County, the state's undisputed king of growth”. The northern half of the county has remained quiet and largely rural. But the southern half is exploding, from Spanish Fort to Daphne and Fairhope, across to Loxley, Robertsdale and Foley, and down to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. The four fastest growing cities in the state are located in Baldwin County, Gulf Shores, Foley, Daphne and Fairhope.
